Buggie servery!

This term we have been studying inventions that are helpful for us. We chose buggies ( prams ) to do because really they do help allot! So what we did is get into groups of two or three I chose to go in a group of two with Alicia! We had to make survey for all the mums with buggies. Once we got all the data we made pie charts from it!

book week!

In week 9 term 3 we had BOOK WEEK!

On the 11th of September book week started and everything changed!We are studying David Walliams. Click here to go to his website, World of Walliams! On the 19th of September we got to dress up as our favorite book character, I dressed up as Fern from Charlotte's web! My friend Mackenzie dressed up as Charlotte and I brought a toy pig so we had the full set!

 I enjoyed knowing that art has no rights or wrongs

 Because all art looks amazing when you do it yourself!

It was challenging of knowing what to do!

It was challenging because every body was doing a robot!

If I was going to this again I would make a coat hanger because I have no where to put my coat!

Eshloe and I both made a table, But I added a little plant pot in the corner. 

I also made a spectical out of the glass over a watch!

Wearable art journey!!!

Today we have started on our skirt and finished it!

day 2
Today I need to work on...

• layering newspaper on singlet
•  adding touch ups to the skirt 
• add touch ups to the top
• cover shoes in newspaper
• add touch ups on shoes

day 3

Yesterday we completed half of the top, one shoe and added touch ups to skirt!

We had difficulty with layering newspaper on shoes!

We found out that it is a lot easier than you think!

Working in a group is great because one of you can do the top and the other can do the bottom!

my out fit reflects my element ( earth ) because we have made flowers and leafs to stick on!

The Torbay learning mode helps us because it tells us what steps we need to do plan, do, present and review!

I am red

as red as a fiery dragon getting stabbed in the heart!

I am orange

as orange as a mouse trying to get the cheese from the trap!

I am yellow

as yellow as the sun bursting light through the sky!

I am green

as green as the trees swaying in the wind silently!

I am blue

as blue as a child finding out that chocolate is poisonous!

I am purple

as purple as a kid knowing that the playground is closed!

I am Pink

as pink as watching the sunset in paris by the eiffel tower!

Squash!

In squash I learned how to play squash!

I found out that there was a browns bay squash club.

I wondered if I should play squash cause its REALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY fun!

Everything was difficult to me!

Now I know how to play squash.

The most fun part was all of it!!!

Music!

In music my learning was about orchestras.

I found out that orchestra is a lot more people than a band. 

I wondered if I could see an orchestra when I was older.

The most difficult part was doing an orchestra in a group of three.

Now I know what an orchestra is!

My next step is to make new sounds on Incredibox.

The most fun part was....

EVERYTHING!!!

Try tricky questions using a variety strategies -  place value and rounding and compensating and with the facts I already know (2/5/10/11/ 9's)

This week we have been learning about sustainability and what we can do to help the environment.

 I wondered if people want to litter or not.

 The most difficult thing was trying to get the jug go, it used up so muck electricity that it was nearly impossible!

 Now I know not to litter because you could be the one that started all of it!

My next steps are to do the right things on earth!

I really enjoyed the Environmental Footprint.

The fun part was finding out how many worlds I need!
